About FIFO FC 27

FIFO FC 27 is a free 3D football game that runs right in your web browser. There is nothing to download and no account to create: open the page and kick off.

The game was built to bring the feel of a classic console football game to the browser. Matches have full 11-a-side teams with passing, through balls, crosses, shots, tackles and slide tackles, plus fouls, yellow and red cards, offsides, free kicks, corners, penalties and instant replays with commentary. You can play with an Xbox or PlayStation controller, or with the keyboard.

Game modes

Kick Off — you against the computer, with four difficulty levels: Amateur, Semi-Pro, Professional and World Class.
Local Match — two players on the same computer, using two controllers or a split keyboard.
Online — play a friend on a different computer and network. One player creates a room and gets a 5-letter code; the other enters that code to join.
Penalty Shootout — set the match mode to Penalty Shootout to go straight to spot kicks.

Choose from national teams including France, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, England, Germany and Portugal. Each team has its own kits and player ratings. You can also pick the half length (2 to 8 minutes), Broadcast or Pro camera, graphics quality and day or night stadium lighting.

How to play online with a friend

Open the game and choose Online · Create Room. A 5-letter code appears.
Send the code to your friend. They open the game and choose Online · Join Room, type the code and press Connect.
Each player picks a team. Your friend presses READY and you press START MATCH.

The player who creates the room hosts the match, so keep the game window open until the final whistle. If you can't connect, check the code and make sure the host is still on the room screen.

Tips

Hold pass or shoot longer for more power — but too much power sends shots over the bar.
Press shoot or pass before the ball reaches you for a first-time finish.
Aim your shots with the stick. Finesse shots curl toward the far corner.
When defending, jockey to stay in front of the attacker and wait for the right moment to tackle.
In a penalty shootout, aim with the stick and press shoot. As the keeper, hold the stick before the kick to dive that way.

Requirements

FIFO FC 27 works best in a recent version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a desktop or laptop. Online play needs an internet connection. To use a controller, connect it and press any button so the browser detects it.
